Quezon City – In support of the government’s National COVID-19 Vaccination Program, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) launched an information campaign for the beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps).
Dubbed as the MAGPABakuna: Mahalagang Alamin, Gampanan, at Pahalagahan Ang Bakuna laban sa COVID – 19, the campaign aims to encourage the program beneficiaries to avail the free vaccines of the government to protect them from the deadly Coronavirus disease.
It can be recalled that the indigent sectors are under the A5 priority list of the national vaccination program which include the beneficiaries of 4Ps.
Earlier, DSWD Secretary Rolando Joselito D. Bautista issued a statement encouraging the program beneficiaries of the Department to get inoculated stating that “getting vaccinated is the best protection to safeguard themselves and their families from contracting the coronavirus.”
Through the campaign and using the Family Development Session (FDS) as the major platform, the program beneficiaries are provided with appropriate and right information for an informed decision.
