The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), in partnership with the National Youth Commission (NYC) and Department of Education (DepEd), launched the Youth Development Session (YDS) at the Tandang Sora National High School last August 31, 2015. 

The YDS is a modular session for the high school beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program commonly known as the country’s version of the Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) Program.

Land Bank President/CEO Gilda Pico (L) and DSWD Secretary Corazon Juliano-Soliman (R) led the distribution of the prepaid cards to 203 family beneficiaries of the Modified Conditional Cash Transfer (MCCT).  
The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) together with the Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP) will distribute prepaid cards today to 203 family beneficiaries of the Modified Conditional Cash Transfer (MCCT). 

“It has always been our commitment to ensure that our beneficiaries receive their grants in the most economic and convenient way. Through the prepaid cards, beneficiaries of the MCCT may get their grants at any Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) or they can use it to purchase groceries or medicines through the point-of-sale (POS) system),” shared DSWD Secretary Corazon Juliano-Soliman.

For their neighbors, the Roble family seems like an average family, working hard at improving their lives. They see a couple deftly managing their business and responsibly sending their children to school. 

Little did the neighbors know that before the Roble family moved to their decent subdivision in Brgy. Dumlog, Talisay City, they used to live in a dumpsite in Barangay Inayawan, Cebu City.
