Prince Anthony C. Balduman, the 2025 Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) Regional Exemplary Child Winner of Region 7, continues to bring pride to the Municipality of Calape, Bohol, not only for his achievements in dance sports but also for embodying the values of discipline, perseverance, and gratitude nurtured through the 4Ps.

In November 2025, during the 4Ps National Children’s Congress in Metro Manila, Prince and fellow 4Ps exemplary children participated in the television game show Family Feud—where they won the grand prize.

Instead of spending the winnings worth Php 50,000.00 on short-term needs, Prince and his family made a purposeful decision. They used the cash prize as additional capital in their small sari-sari store, creating a sustainable source of income to help support their daily expenses.

This decision was made as a result of their appreciation of the Family Development Sessions (FDS), which teach the 4Ps members to become financially independent and literate.

According to Prince, he will continue pursuing his dreams despite the hardships in life. He is hopeful that with the sari-sari store that they were able to open and the grants that he is currently receiving, he hopes to finish his studies someday and pursue his dream of becoming a renowned dancer in the future. 

Prince, being the 4Ps Exemplary Child of the Central Visayas Region, is known for his outstanding accomplishments both in school and in his community. Some of his notable achievements include winning in different dance sports competitions in their region.

In recognition of his outstanding accomplishments and for serving as an inspiration to fellow youth as an exemplary 4Ps child, the Municipality of Calape also awarded Prince a Resolution of Commendation, highlighting how he represents the positive impact of 4Ps in shaping goal-driven and resilient youth.

As a 4Ps Exemplary Child, Prince continues to inspire his peers by sharing his story of perseverance and triumph, encouraging other 4Ps children to pursue their dreams with courage, brilliance, and belief in their limitless potential. 

The search for the 4Ps Exemplary Children recognizes children who demonstrate excellence in academics, leadership, conduct, and community involvement, highlighting the program’s role in shaping the next generation of leaders and changemakers.

With this, what began as a game show victory became a meaningful first step toward economic resilience for the Balduman family. 

Now, Prince and his family are committed to managing their own re-established sari-sari store business through the cash prize they received from the game show. ###
