Two staff from the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) National Program Management Office (NPMO) were recognized by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Central Office as winners of the Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE) Awards, during the flag-raising ceremony on 12 January at the DSWD New Lobby.

Following a rigorous process of assessment, validation, and deliberation conducted by the 2025 Central Office PRAISE Committee, Bienvenido Oller, Jr., Administrative Officer V, and Quennie Arien Magana, Project Development Officer III, both from the 4Ps-NPMO, were honored for their exemplary service, receiving the  Gawad Huwaran Award and Special Citations: Angel in Red Vest Award, respectively.

The awards ceremony was led by Assistant Secretary for Operations and Concurrent Officer-in-Charge of the Office of the Undersecretary for the Conditional Cash Transfer Group (CCTG), Marites M. Maristela, CESO III, who also serves as Chairperson of the Central Office PRAISE Committee.

In her message, Assistant Secretary Maristela commended the awardees, emphasizing that their achievements, dedications, and accomplishments embody the values of excellence and integrity promoted by the Department. 

The Assistant Secretary also emphasized that their efforts serve as an inspiration to the entire DSWD workforce, encouraging everyone to maintain a culture of genuine excellence in public service.

The awardees received their certificates of recognition from Assistant Secretary Maristela, who was accompanied by Assistant Secretary for Support to Operations and New Initiatives under the CCTG, Atty. Ellaine Fallarcuna, 4Ps National Program Manager and Director Gemma B. Gabuya.

During the recognition, Assistant Secretary for Resource and Logistics Management and Concurrent OIC of the National Resource and Logistics Management Bureau Leo Quintilla, CESE, was also awarded the Best Manager Award.

The PRAISE Awards is the Department’s premier recognition program for government employees who demonstrate creativity, innovation, integrity, productivity, and exemplary service, in line with the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Resolution No. 010112, which encourages agencies to establish award systems to promote excellence and efficiency in public service.
