Realizing the untapped potentials of the disadvantaged sectors, the local government of Lapuyan in Zamboanga del Sur has established a livelihood center to not only to cater to the needs of the less fortunate, but to help them be productive members of society as well.

 

The Lapuyan Kabuhayan Center caters to livelihood needs of PWDs, OSYs, and senior citizens. It was realized through the efforts of the municipality of Lapuyan, Zamboanga del Sur, the DSWD, DOLE, and other line agencies. (PIA-9)

DIPOLOG CITY, Feb 24 (PIA) – A total of 5,872 families in Zamboanga del Norte were removed as beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program otherwise known as Pantawid Pamilya after a revalidation survey was conducted late last year. This brings to total 75,216 beneficiaries of the program in the province.
