DSWD-7 finds out more than 2,000 beneficiaries for Pantawid Pamilya PDF Print E-mail

Close to 2,400 beneficiaries have been identified by, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD-7) in Central Visayas for the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program. These come from 22 barangays and are situated in cities of Cebu, Mandaue and Lapulapu.

Aileen Lariba, the information officer for the DSWD-7 said that the identified Barangays have been asked to proceed with their respective barangay halls. In this it will be checked whether thir names are included in the list of identified potential 4Ps beneficiaries.

There are 13 new barangays and has Carreta, Suba, Basak Pardo, Mabolo, Cambinocot, Luz, Bulacao, Ermita, san Nicolas, Pasil, Sambag II, Busay and Lorega, in the list.

As per Lariba, the identified Pantawid Pamilya of the potential household beneficiaries are also going to be there for 22 barangays of the cities of Cebu, Mandaue and Lapulapu. The lists have been validated on January 17-21.

She further added that a DSWD-National Officer is going to be handling the work of de-listing of additional areas and the list of beneficiaries that are for Pantawid Pamilya. Also guidelines for the program of the DSWD-Field Offices are going to be considered.
